I have always been an animal lover but after my first pet, I’ve always wanted another dog. I’m the kind of person who will talk to your dog first before I introduce myself to you, poo bags will always be handy and if a dog comes to visit there will always be dog treats in the cupboard (but no milk or biscuits for a human brew).

I’m a keen outdoor enthusiast, whether it be walking, biking, swimming, climbing or running, I’ll take anything to be out enjoying the Lake District. I moved away from this beautiful place for university but just couldn’t fight the urge to come back home. Through my course at university, I qualified as a Mountain Leader and have enjoyed taking groups out into the hills to experience the Lakes (and Yorkshire Dales) safely.

Having borrowed dogs for Mountain Days and walked with other peoples dog in groups I’ve guided. I love to see them adventure freely on the mountain tops, scrambling up the rocky paths, diving into mountain tarns or bathing themselves in the deep bogs. Combine my love of dogs and being outdoors and you’ve got the perfect job. I get the freedom of being outdoors and the love that dogs provide unconditionally in bucket loads.

I would essentially just like to spend time with dogs keeping them happy and giving you peace of mind.
